TAPTOE – Tackling And Preventing The Opioid Epidemic, is a research consortium that is part of the Dutch National Research Agenda. The research focuses on the entire trajectory from prescribing opioids to long term use and their tapering.

Within the TAPTOE consortium universities, institutions and policy makers work together since 2018 in order to prevent a possible opioid problem in the Netherlands.
